Eid Mubarak 2020
Eid Mubarak 2020
My name is
Munir Ahmed Syed and today, I would like to discuss an important holiday
and festival celebrated by thousands of Muslims around the world known as Eid
ul fiter. So let’s start about the significance of traditions followed by
millions of people around the world who celebrate this special festival. How
many of you have fasted for a day imagines going a day without water. when it
is not inside imagined fasting for about 12 to 18hours a day without food water
smoking or being rolled to chew gum but fasting each day for the sake of
religion and God by going through an emotional and spiritual cleanse and learning.
How to be kind patient and appreciative for what you have, fasting for the sake
of God is something that Muslims partake in they do this during the month of
Ramadan the month is Ramadan is a ninth month of the lunar calendar by learning
to be patient kind and appreciative you fast for the sake of God and you're
appreciative for what you have in doing this you learn to be charitable and
refrain from backbiting fasting is one of the pillars of Islam Muslims have
five pillars that they must abide by the first pillar is faith believing that
there is only one God and that Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him is His
Messenger it is important that Muslims pray which is the second pillar of Islam
and if they fast which is the third pillar Islam the fourth believer Islam is
giving charity and the fifth pillar is completing pilgrimage once in your
lifetime which is in Saudia Arabia there are many people that are exempt from
fasting such as the elderly young children pregnant women and those who are
travelling it is mandatory upon every children and when they reach the age of
puberty too fast after Muslims fast each day for a month they partake in a
special festival called Eid Ul Filter traditions Muslims follow were Eid Ul Filter passed on by the
prophets and many people have family traditions they sell about this festival
with friends and family by exchanging gifts going to in prayer that's taking
place in a prayer hall or either Park smiling eating and of course taking three
days off to celebrate the special occasion. Women get excited about
wearing all their festival clothing and have many outfit changes. Today I will
talk about the rituals Muslim perform to celebrate you they'll fit there as
stated earlier by following the Quran which is the Muslims holy book and
applause Islam Muslims fast it is stated in the Holy Quran Muslims holy book
that fasting as stated on Muslim org o you who believe fasting is prescribed to
you I suppose prescribe to those before you so you may guard against people the
purpose of fasting is to spiritually cleanse your mind body and soul by being
close to God those whole returns to God by being pure and clean very free from
backbiting eating and drinking from sunrise to sunset you strive to do extra
prayers of focus on yourself because its importance to establish
relationship between you and God by looking at the moon you have a lunar
calendar and you fast from sunrise to sunset so you eat and drink before
the Sun rises and you eat and drink after the sunset time varies depending on
the state and country you are living in you must refrain from backbiting and
slandering during this month and smoking and chewing gum as well during the day
after the fasting is taking place you celebrate Eid ul Fiter day is known as a
first shawol, as stated by all over the
news it marks the end of fasting is a day of joy spending happiness helping
each other out and being close to your friends and family it is known as a Thanksgiving
Day for women children and men throughout the world by being appreciative
for life and health it is a three-day celebration while children enjoy taking
up school and adults take off work the most important tradition that has followed
by Muslims is when you wake up in the morning you take a shower and eat
something sweet as well as this according to the profits you have to engage in
a concrete malaria and listen to the special lecture done by the Imam known as
the priest this prayer is either done in a big park or field after praying is
done Muslims greet one another unique numerous meals and sweep throughout the
day family members take pictures and exchange gifts and play games worldwide
calls are made to family and friends to spread good wishes if I learn to be
kind and charitable you must pay charity on this day because it's important to
help those who are needy and less fortunate this charity must be done before
praying in conclusion I hope you learn how it is to be a Muslim and celebrate
this festival it is always fun to learn about a new culture and learn about the
knowledge and insight shared by different human beings on this earth I hope you
enjoyed how it is celebrated by following these traditions world wide as I said
earlier it's a joyous three education includes eating spending time with family
and friends being charitable and giving gifts new Mix traditions that are
followed include eating sweets putting on new clothing making phone calls to
family and friends while changing gifts fasting and being kind respectful and
charity hope you get to one day partake in a special two-day celebration
because a joyous occasion filled with happiness joy lots of eating presents
smiles and laughs as well as colorful clothing.
Eid Mubarak 2020
Ramadan is a very
precious and important month of the year for Muslims. They spent their days and
nights praising Allah. These nights are very precious to us. We pray to Allah
all night and ask Him to forgive our sins and save us. There are five nights in
this month that are very important for a Muslim. At the end of it is
Eid-ul-Fitr. This is Awards Day. Allah told the angels to walk on the earth.
Stand everywhere and in the street. He announced the awards for people who can
hear everyone except humans and devils. Similarly, you cannot come home after
Eid prayers. You should change a pass to the opposite of where you visited the
mosque. The full column on this beautiful subject is given below. You can read
it here and get to know it.
I say on it'll fit in
English even fit Eid ul-fiter often abbreviated to Eid . Eid is a three day
Muslim ritual that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting,
Eid is an Arabic word meaning festivity. The first day of Eid falls on the
first day of the month Shabbat it is a very special day for all the Muslims. It
is an occasion of happiness on this day people commonly wake up earlier to
carry out special Task related to Eid. They put on new clothes and have a light
be fast of homemade vermicelli people send this video to their relatives and
neighbors , Then they go to attend the special Eid player in EidGah. This is
one of the biggest assemblies of the Muslims in the year. After the prayers
Muslims visits their relatives friends and acquaintances and exchange greetings
Eid gifts are frequently given to children and immediate relatives adult
relatives give children small sums of money as Edie . Edie is full of
festivities it brings delight to all the Muslims of the world many days before
is special arrangements are made to decorate the houses people clean their
houses to welcome the guests on this happy occasion bonding and balloons give a
new look to the houses the children seem very happy on this day there is a lot
of fun and amusement everywhere streets parks and gardens are full of people
and children some enjoyed watching special issues on different TV channels some
indulge in fireworks outwardly it seems a special day for feast meetings. I'll
be dressing but Islam does not establish any ritual without special purpose.
It'll fit is the occasion of sharing the happiness and blessings with others
this day is meant to take care of the poor and the needy for this reason giving
arms is frequent in the month of Ramadan in our society. Most of the people are
particularly considerate on the happy moment of it they paid heed to the
necessities of the needy and the poor, thus the spirit of this day is witnessed
in the cultural manifestation of Devere the underlying message is that living
for 1s is living on animal scale human beings are the crown of creation because
they are expected to share their capacities with the rest of mankind to
establish a happier community.
Eid in London
Here in London we know
Diversity is strength. it’s got a weakness, because whether you are a Muslim, a
Christian whether you're Jewish Hindu Sikh with marrow from the sky here in
London you belong and you are welcome and it's really important that, we
remember that why because we know there are people in our city there are people
in our country there are people in Europe there are people in the USA there are
people elsewhere trying to divide communities front turn Muslims against
Christians Jews against Sikhs those who are members of an organized Spain
against those that are Indians against Pakistan days I'm going to let them
succeed how will you let them define us no because we know London is the
greatest city in the world.
Eid Mubarak 2020
Let me tell you this
there are people around the world looking at London today looking at Survivor
Square today with envy why. Because here in London we don't just tolerate
difference we respect it we embrace it and as we showed today we celebrate it.
But let me say this we must never we must never be complacent and we must
always be vigilant because this expectation we have that progress goes one way
and our frustration has been the lack of pace of progress while now we face a
situation where in danger of losing the progress we made and that's why they're
going to be vigilant and that's , why I want to still be complacent and what is
so wonderful about either on the square today it's here we have many
non-Muslims celebrates it is so those who are Muslim said today.
Eid Mubarak 2020
let's give a massive
and ran applause for the new Muslims here today. You know what the far right
they hate that you know what there are some presidents I hate that let me say
let me say this has been my pleasure to be your mayor for the next three years
and looking forward to the next 30 years your man and I want to say this make
sure when you speak to somebody when you return home to your community when you
speak to a friend around the country when you speak to friends family around
the world you tell them three very important words London is open London is
open of celebrating Eve London is open too but I know anything on Christians
Jews but this mixing mingling enjoying London is open to talent nobody's open
to business you know in London we love Americans we love Americans when you saw
a problem with their preside so let me just say these brothers or sisters
friends either part of a fantastic day of celebrations good thing allows you to
do is remember that around our city around the country but around the world
there are many Muslims who can't celebrate this festival as wonderfully as we
can we don't get to eat big feasts that if thought they don't get to spend time
with her family and friends and he think of it less fortunate us this day of
all of days eat of our own like a picture with the mayor of London today
because you're hoping to get a selfie with a smart or men so how about a selfie
with all three of them and in my abdomen and me just come for free we do the
extras no like I said there's an on tier where they're not smiling you smile
please everyone come back to you sorry it was obviously a pleasure and today
from is there and of course the Mayor of London we're not putting this festival
wouldn't be happening so I feel like maybe we need to show our appreciation
maybe one last time one evening London.
Eid in India
In India, Eid A1 - Adha is very
different from being celebrated in Muslim countries because in Muslim
countries, when it is time for prayers, all the shops are closed, so people go
to the mosque for prayers and when it is time for our Iftar. During Eid, people
dress up in their best clothes, decorate homes with lights and decorations,
treat children, and meet friends and family and exchange greetings and gifts.
At some point, family members will go to the local farm or arrange to slaughter
an animal. Meat is distributed on or immediately after the holidays. A sense of
generosity and gratitude colors these festivals. Every Muslim is encouraged to
sacrifice one animal and it is divided into three and one third for the needy,
one third for friends and family and one third for himself.
